Personal care support for older people

At Custom Care, we don’t believe you have to stop living the life you want to or leave your home of many years, just because you’ve reached a certain age.

We understand the differing needs of people in their later years and with our home care support and personal assistance, you can continue to live independently in your own home.

We’ll work with you to build a care support package designed to provide as much or as little care support as you require. Our careworkers can assist you with tasks such as morning and bedtime routines, bathing and dressing, doing light housework and laundry or helping to prepare meals.

Because needs may become more complex with age, we offer more specialised services to enable on-going independent living, including medication management, rehabilitative care to help you or a loved one get back on your feet after poor health or a hospital stay, dementia care and palliative care.

We know that staying involved in your local community is key  to your general health and well-being, so we strive to support you to do this in a number of ways, including accompanying you to attend religious services or social events, take part in activities you’re interested in, meet up with your family and friends, collect prescriptions or stay in touch with your loved ones by letter or email.
