Careworker vacancies

At Custom Care, we are committed to providing high quality, personalised home care support and assistance.

We interview prospective employees to assess their suitability for care support roles, and they must provide suitable identification and checkable references.

We are legally required to make an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check on all staff joining Custom Care, so if you have certain types of criminal convictions, you may not be able to do this type of work. You can find out more about the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and its implications for care staff from Nacro, the crime reduction charity.

All new employees will attend induction training before they start working independently with service users, which includes some time being trained by a senior care worker on site. It is our policy to continually train and supervise all employees during their employment.

For most employees, we can be flexible about the number of weekly hours worked so that staff can work as little or as much as suits them (depending on availability of hours).

To check for any current available job opportunities, please call or email your local branch.

Please note that we do not accept CVs unless we ask you to provide them, so please DO NOT send these to us.
